1. Who is responsible?
The responsible party for enquiries on arcva is ONATECH ACADEMY OF COMPUTER TRAINING, CIPC identifier K2025087418, registration number 2025/087418/07. Address: 296 Pretorius Street, Premium Towers, Pretoria Central, Gauteng, 0002, South Africa. Contact [email protected] or +27 12 458 4561 for privacy questions and requests.
2. Information you provide
The enquiry form asks for your first name, last name, email address and phone number. You may also choose a learning interest and write a message. Names help identify and address your enquiry; email and phone details allow a response and discussion of your request.
The four marked fields are required to use the form. You can instead email or call and provide the information needed to answer your question. Please do not send passwords, identity documents, payment-card details, health information or other sensitive personal information.
3. Why information is processed
Information is used to respond to your enquiry, discuss your interests and take steps you request before any separate agreement. Enquiry processing is kept separate from marketing. Sending a form does not subscribe you to a mailing list or give permission for unrelated advertising.
Processing is carried out for a lawful purpose connected with your request, including steps needed to consider an agreement at your request, and where applicable to meet legal obligations or protect legitimate interests in website security. Any processing based on consent may be withdrawn, without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
4. Website security and technical information
The hosting server may record technical information such as IP address, request time, browser information and error logs, as needed to deliver and secure the website. Access should be restricted to authorised people and service providers, with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.
No advertising pixels, analytics services, embedded maps or third-party tracking scripts are installed in this version. Cookie choices and an optional animation preference are stored locally in your browser. See the cookie policy.
5. Recipients and service providers
Enquiry messages are sent to [email protected]. Authorised people handling enquiries and providers needed for hosting and email may process the information for those purposes. Personal information is not sold to advertisers. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or a valid authority request.
If a provider processes information outside South Africa, the responsible party must ensure an applicable lawful transfer basis and appropriate protection under POPIA. The details supplied for this website do not identify the email or hosting provider; no specific provider or data location is represented here.
6. Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to an agreement are retained for no more than 90 days after the last communication, unless a legal obligation or dispute requires a longer period. If an agreement is made, relevant records are retained for the applicable purpose and legal retention period. Browser preferences expire after 180 days and can be removed sooner.
7. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request confirmation of whether your information is held, access to it, correction or deletion of inaccurate or unlawfully held information, and object to processing where a right to object applies. You may withdraw consent where consent is the processing basis. A proportionate identity check may be necessary before information is disclosed or changed.
Send requests to [email protected] or the postal address above. If you remain concerned, you may contact South Africa’s Information Regulator to make a complaint.
8. Automated decisions and updates
The form is not used for automated admission, profiling or decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. If website functions or processing arrangements change, this notice will be updated with a new date.
